Amanda Sergay M.D.
Amanda Sergay, MD is a board-certified Dermatologist and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine. After graduating from Emory University, Dr. Sergay earned her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Sergay completed her medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and served as the chief resident during her dermatology residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Currently, Dr. Sergay is an educator, training resident physicians and medical students at New York University on a weekly basis.
Dr. Sergay specializes in the practice of adult and pediatric dermatology and dermatologic surgery. In addition to skin cancer evaluations and skin surgery, she treats patients with a wide variety of conditions including acne, rosacea, hair loss, skin allergies, eczema, psoriasis, warts, sun damage, cysts, and excessive sweating. She also provides cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, laser (for hair, facial/leg veins, and brown spots), and chemical peels.
Dr. Sergay tailors her treatments to suit the needs of each patient with the use of prescription medications, office procedures, over-the-counter products, and education of optimal skin care.
Dr. Sergay is a member of The American Academy of Dermatology. She has done extensive research in the field with publications featured in The Journal of the American Academy of Cutis, The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, and The American Journal of Clinical Dermatology. She has authored two book chapters in dermatology textbooks and has lectured at regional and national meetings.
